LETTERS FROM PRISON: MARC BRU 082824

Barbara,
The night slips long into the twilight of morning, when the sun reaches up from the east, to
caress your grief away. We have journeyed for, so long, and yet we are here, gazing over the
hill, into the promised land. There are probably many still, too stubborn to enter the new land of
milk and honey, yet we must persist. I have been attending, what has been coined, as a
“Listening Session”. I am no longer naïve to the way these institutions shape-shift, when the
light of truth is shown. Then, when the light passes, they shift back into the shape of “the
Beast”. The entire prison model, and mentality has to be imagined dierently. Right now, we
cannot practically, defund the police, but in a future of healthy, educated people, why would we
need police for more than keeping a watchful eye, and rescuing kittens from neighborhood
trees? This raising of virtue is our climb and ascension to meet our creator in the sky.
Good, strong supporters, like you, are our hands and feet on the outside, locally. Please reach
out in a campaign to your local churches, and whatever groups, you’re part of, and tell the
story of how J 6 is, like myself, are doing the work from the inside to change the “us vs them”
culture. Jesus is in us, to free all from the bonds of oppression, even our own oppression of
self.
Thank you, very much, for your love and support. Even when I am more like Jonah being told
to go prophecy to Ninehvah. This is my time in the whale, is it not?
