Barbara, thank you for your letter! It’s been a crazy 3 years – on Jan 6 I had just turned 22 and the energy was high – race riots, covid and Biden trying to become president all in the same year of 2020. When I was first arrested I was so scared but thankfully the judge let me out on home confinement until my trial, which came two years later in November of 2022. I had a good trial. I was accused of quite a few felonies by the grace of God, who always has his hand in my life, I was only found guilty of civil disorder and impeding an officer’s duties. I was sentenced to 56 months, half the time of The plea I was offered. I’m FSA eligible and I can get halfway house, so I should only be serving about 20 months of the 36, God willing. Hopefully, I’ll be out of prison this coming summer. I’m also concerned about the coming election. There’s nothing we can do – maybe things will have to get worse before they can get better. Thank you for the pages of wisdom. I enjoyed reading them. Thank you again for writing me, it really means so much to me. Your friend, sister in Christ!
