Dear Barbara,

Thank you for your letter. I read each quote and need each one of them. As to the references to the Saints, I am Catholic, my wife is Catholic, my 6 grown children and their spouses are Catholic, and my 17 grandchildren are Catholic! Keep them coming. I am always aware of their sacrifices and the fact that my sentence pales in comparison.

It looks like I will be going home before Christmas! That is so encouraging but there are so many who will not be home. My heart breaks for them.

The letters we receive means so much, especially during those special holidays. Please keep up the good work!
