I want to start by saying thank you very much.

Thank you for the support and taking the time to write me an encouraging letter. It means a lot to me to know that I am not facing this alone. Although being locked up I feel that way quite often. Being away from my wife and children are by far the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. I take comfort and knowing the Lord Jesus Christ is with me and then he has a plan so much greater than I could even imagine. I’m not going to lie, there are days that I start to question him. But every time I start feeling down the Lord shows up.

Whether it is an encouraging letter from a patriot or a thank you from a guard, to a young man that I had the privilege to lead to Christ waking up each morning eager to come and sit with me to hear the word of god. I do not know what tomorrow holds for me but I am glad I know the one who is holding me. Please pray that I can stay focused on Christ and not the storm that is surrounding me.

Thank you for your patriotism, your love, your support and greatest of all, your prayers. You’re encouragement means more to me than you know and it’s a blessing. God bless you.
