The letter below is an example of what J6 families are going through.  It is not enough that some have lost their jobs, their homes, have been rejected by family and friends, are treated like modern-day lepers, they have to witness in anguish the conditions and suffering their loved ones have to endure. They also have to deal with the extraordinary amount of money they have to spend to keep communication with them and fill out their commissary. We hear about how our country have to spend so much money for the jail system but do we hear about how much money these families have to dish out to support their loved ones.
We have an idea – LET ALL THE J6ERS OUT TODAY AND EMPTY THE PRISONS OF UNJUSTLY INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS!

Please help this situation be corrected. Call the Marshalls. Do something!

PLEASE ASK THE MARSHALLS TO SECURE TOM’S MOVE TO FCI LIMON THAT IS CLOSER TO HIS FAMILY AND THAT THE JUDGE ACTUALLY REQUESTED!!!

I am writing on behalf of my husband Thomas Hamner, who just landed at the FCI Florence Colorado federal prison facility to serve his 30 month sentence as a January 6th defendant.

My husband is charged with felony civil disorder and has already served more than 12 months behind bars for this charge. My husband got assigned his level already at the last transfer station he came from in Lewisburg. He has a Medium security level.

After a phone call I received from my husband last night, I was informed that my husband and one other individual were “singled out” upon arrival at the facility due their high profile cases (i.e. January 6th defendants).

They locked my husband and the other individual in a metal cage outside in freezing cold temperatures. They then proceeded to force my husband and the other man to strip down completely naked in front of everyone else! Out of a group of 22 men that all arrived at FCI Florence together from the same airplane, only these two people were singled out.

This is completely illegal to say the very least and I am appalled by this and there is more to this story. My husband immediately requested a grievance form which of course was denied. His concern is that he has 24 hours to file the grievance form the date of the incident and since they are refusing him access to the form, our hands are of course tied. I phoned the facility several times already today and spoke to the operator. She told me his counselors name is Mr. Quintana, but refused to take a message for him and also refused to provide me with the extension # of the counselor. She told me that Mr. Quintana was very busy since he works a dual role at the facility because he also monitors the halls and apparently works as an officer (which seems like a total conflict of interest if you ask me!).

Thomas found out upon arrival to the Florence facility that he and the 21 other men that flew along side him are to remain in the SHU for the duration of their sentence because apparently this facility has no beds for them. How in the world 22 inmates can be transferred to a facility that has no beds is beyond me.

I am asking for immediate help in this matter, please!
