MAGA Mouse to the Rescue by Katelyn Mervar

Katelyn Mervar, a young woman from Indiana got inspired to write J6 political prisoners early on. There is hardly any J6er in the DC Gulag who has not received mail from Katelyn. It is not like she sends a simple letter with a few words of encouragement. She is very creative, and her letters are adorned with decorated verses in patriotic colors. The envelopes are beautiful as well and when you get one you know right away that it came from Katelyn. She probably wrote hundreds of letters since she started sending mail to J6ers. They all know about her.

At age 20, she wrote the MAGA Mouse story and spent the past year creating the illustrations herself. She tells us: “I read James’s story on telegram about MAGA mouse. After reading it, I was so inspired I wrote the story “MAGA Mouse to the Rescue” on the spot. We were actually traveling at the time, and I wrote the whole thing in one sitting. I felt like it was a gift from the Lord. I finished my story with the facts James Mcgrew had shared about the real MAGA Mouse who had appeared in the DC Gulag.

I prayed about who was to do the artwork and felt the Lord leading me to reach out to Kyle Fitzsimon who had been sending artwork to many of the patriots writing him. He is an amazing artist and was excited about the idea of illustrating a story about MAGA Mouse. I sent him an outline of what I was thinking, and he started work on drawing “lots of mice, rats and Trump” as he said in a letter to us. He also wrote me a comical letter with further background and details on the real story which was helpful in bringing MAGA Mouse to life. Unfortunately, with Kyle’s unfair trial and all the hardships he’s been put through the past couple of years, I don’t think he was ever able to finish. But I look forward to seeing the progress he did make someday and who knows, maybe we’ll have to print his version of MAGA Mouse too! So, I started work on the pictures and God truly taught me a lot along the way because I didn’t think I could do it. I’ve told Kyle since then that I finished the story, and he was excited. Kyle will be the 1st political prisoner to receive a signed copy!”

We asked Katelyn for more details about her journey as she put together this book:
“So some more backstory. There is a dear lady I know, Eva Edl, who is a survivor of a communist concentration camp in the wake of World War 2. God spared her life and brought her to America where she has been a bold defender of the pre-born. She and I have talked a couple of times. When she came to America, she wrote letters to many of her people who still remained in the communist concentration camps well after the war ended. I asked if she was still doing some of that and if I could help her. She said that was all a long time ago but would pray with me about who I was to write. Soon after that, the Lord led me to find the Patriot Mail Project on telegram and I knew right away that was my answer! So I began in late of 2021 writing to many of the political prisoners. I was horrified as I read letter after letter posted by the PMP from these patriots and their families being hunted down by a corrupt FBI and a weaponized DOJ. We must all do something to see that this injustice does not continue on our watch. A great place to start would be to get involved with the work the Patriot Mail Project is doing to help these patriots.”
Katelyn added she hopes this book will help boost morale among the J6 patriots and their families, raise awareness to their plight and give God the glory!

James Story was published in the American Gulag Chronicles channel and appeared in the American Gulag Chronicles – Letters from Prison. The book put together by Tim Rivers and Marie Goodwyn was originally published to raise awareness about the January 6th event, the following arrests and political persecution of over 1100 protestors. It is also a fundraiser to help J6ers’s needs in various ways and for diverse reasons.
