DC-CTF NEWS – JAIL REMOVED TABLETS AND TURNED OFF PHONES LAST WEEKEND

This past weekend in C2B at the DC-CTF was another proof of the mental torture J6ers and families as subjugated to. Tablets were removed with the pretense that they were going to get new ones. Another half truth. If it was truly the case, why not exchange the tablets directly – “give me your old one and here is the new one” kind of situation. Instead J6ers, loved ones, as well as their lawyers were cut off from C2B entirely.

Families and lawyers called the jail to be told the phones were down. Several family members, friends, and lawyers called GTL and were told everything was normal and they had not received a report from the jail about an outage.

Captain Holland (not sure about his name) guard on duty, told that the phones were down and to contact the service provider. An obvious lie. Someone turned the phone off and the tablets were removed at the same time, an obviously planned and made up situation. The other side of CTF was not down we hear.

So, who gave the order? Who decided to remove all possible communication starting Saturday night, preventing families and friends from communicating with their loved one and preventing lawyers from working with their clients on their cases and being able to file motions as needed?

The inmates were lied to and told the phone system was inoperable. Those who called the jail were lied to as well.

What about GTL? When are they going to file a defamation and label lawsuit against DC DOC for lying about their service?  It seems like this would make future contracts problematic. They know CTF and DOC were lying because they confirmed there was no outage, the lines were good, and CTF did not turn in a report of an outage.

Where are the Republicans? Where are the civil rights advocates organizations? Where is the Red Cross when fundamental rights are being violated? Where are all these people who use private jets to go around, who live in mansions, who go to galas, wear expensive clothes, drive expensive cars, in short our representatives?

Lots of talks but little actions from the Republicans. This is all political theater. They give their provocative speeches but what have they really done? What are the results of their fancy prose?

We were contacted by family members and lawyers about the situation.

A lawyer asked: “Have you heard from C2B at all? I need to get in touch with my client. I have important motions to file. I am told the phones and tablets are down.”

At the DC gulag, their was no sign to the J6ers whose daily blinking lights to show their presence were absent.

It is time Mayor Bowser and the Warden at CTF are help accountable. Call your representatives.
