On Feb 7 Mr. Sabol at the DC jail had a Deficiency Report (DR) hearing regarding him not wearing a mask. During this hearing he was denied the ability to have a witness testify on his behalf that he was drinking coffee at the time of the alleged infraction. Mr. Sabol asked the hearing board why he was not allowed a witness (he never received an answer). Mr. Sabol then asked for the names of those giving the hearing (of the 3 people, one of the hearing members refused to give their name). The meeting was then terminated by the hearing committee because of Mr. Sabol’s lack cooperation. Upon leaving the meeting Mr.Sabol informed other inmates in his pod of this blatant disregard for his constitutional right to have witnesses present during “Any” criminal prosecution (which includes jail rule violations [see the 6th amendment]). Because Mr Sabol dared to Loudly question the DC jail’s hearing board, he is now being charged with inciting a riot (and other additional charges). That being said, Mr.Sabol requests that the U.S. Marshalls meet with Mr. Sabol so as to get to the bottom of the matter.

Thank You.
